Dr. Gerlach and Dr. Dues provide comprehensive eyecare for all ages. They prescribe the latest technologies in glasses and contact lenses and treat and manage ocular diseases such as keratoconus, macular degeneration, glaucoma, conjunctivitis, dry eye syndrome, diabetes and many more.

Holiday Staff Party TOMORROW 1/9/26!

The Celina office will be open until 12PM and the Ft. Recovery office until 11:30 AM for our annual staff holiday party! We are so thankful to have this time to spend with our AWESOME work family!

Long before modern eyewear, the Inuit people crafted ingenious snow goggles from materials like bone, driftwood, or ivory. These goggles had narrow slits that reduced the intense glare reflecting off the snow—protecting their eyes from snow blindness while traveling and hunting in bright Arctic conditions.

Even today, winter glare is still a real concern. Sunlight reflecting off snow can be just as harsh on your eyes as summer sun, causing eye strain, headaches, and increased UV exposure.
