Mr. Charlie Ray Gilpatrick, Greenwood, passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, September 12, 2025. He was 88 years old. Charlie was born October 26, 1936, in Celina, Tennessee, a son of the late William Radford and Ruth Mae McBride Gilpatrick. He was a graduate of Celina High School

I wish to express my sincere appreciation to all who braved the inclement weather to attend this morning's decoration ceremony. As my father, Willie Hall, would often say, Decoration Day had historically been rain-free in his recollection. Although today's rainfall was unprecedented in my 30 years of attending, we were heartened by a remarkable turnout and a meaningful service. Our collection totaled $2897; for those unable to attend, donations can still be made via Bank of Celina, designated for the Doc Hall Cemetery fund.

Another beautiful morning at Doc Hall Decoration . We did start the service earlier than planned but everyone made it. Several families attending that hadn't been before, so that was wonderful to see too!!

Total collected for the upkeep of the cemetery today $3239.00. Thanks to everyone that donated and if you'd still like too, they may be sent to Bank of Celina. Address is listed in another post. If you took photos today, please feel free to share.
