The model for cancer care is “one-stop-shopping” with both medical oncology and radiation oncology located in the same building.

The Cancer Network of West Central Ohio was formed in 2004 as a not-for-profit partnership of 4 regional hospitals to bring state-of-the-art cancer treatment services to West Central Ohio. The Cancer Network operates the Grand Lake Regional Cancer Center in Celina, Ohio. The establishment of this Center has allowed patients to receive quality cancer treatment close to home. Patients are provided the highest quality expert care with the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment. Our patients have reduced travel and wait times, a personalized treatment plan and receive care from a dedicated, compassionate staff. Members

This type of radiation is generated by the linear accelerator so you will not be radioactive. When the machine is off, no radiation is present and it does not linger in your body. You may be around friends and family without any concern.

Four-time Olympian and high jumper Chaunté Lowe was diagnosed with aggressive triple-negative breast cancer in 2019, leading her to undergo chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, but she became cancer-free and used her experience to advocate for early detection and awareness, inspiring others with her resilience while training for her fifth Olympics. Her journey highlights the importance of self-advocacy, as she pushed for further investigation after initial misdiagnosis, ultimately saving her life and allowing her to share her story globally.
