🌿 Meet Nicole Watson, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner & Founder of Watson Psychiatry 🌿

At Watson Psychiatry, our mission has always been simple: to serve our community with compassion, knowledge, and high-quality mental health care. Today, we’re honored to introduce (or reintroduce) the heart behind our practice — Nicole Watson, PMHNP.

Nicole will be the first to say that building a company and a brand that truly represents who we are has not been an easy road. But her dedication to helping others, investing in her education, and staying committed to her calling is what shaped Watson Psychiatry into what it is today.

She is not only a clinician and leader — Nicole is also a mom, and her children are her greatest motivation. They inspire her to work hard, lead by example, and show them what it means to be resilient, compassionate, and committed to serving others.

At Watson Psychiatry, we are proud to provide a full spectrum of care, including medication management, as well as psychotherapy integrated into med-management sessions, ensuring a holistic and individualized approach for every patient we serve. We also offer in-office Ketamine and Spravato treatments, all supported by a compassionate and evidence-based philosophy of care.

Through our sponsorship programs and preceptorship of psychiatric nurse practitioner students, Nicole’s vision continues to expand access to thoughtful, community-centered mental health care.

Nicole has been recognized for her contributions and expertise in several publications, including:
• Children’s Hospital 2015 Stellar Nurse
• A PBS article focusing on how ADHD affects children and adolescents
• Community Voyage feature

Her passion for lifelong learning remains strong. Nicole has pursued education across multiple respected institutions, including:
University of Northern Colorado, Arapahoe Community College, Metropolitan State University, University of Colorado Denver, and Walden University.

Every step of her journey reflects the values we hold at Watson Psychiatry: compassion, education, and a commitment to improving the lives of the populations we serve.

💚 Thank you for supporting our mission and for trusting us with your care. We look forward to continuing to grow and make a meaningful difference in our community.

College alone doesn’t make you intelligent — self-education does.
And that kind of learning opens far more doors than any degree ever could. 🚪✨

I wouldn’t be a private practice owner today if I hadn’t pushed myself to keep learning.
Because of that effort, I’ve been able to help thousands of people transform their health and their education.

Books became my escape.
My children became my motivation.
And the hurtful words of others?
They became my fuel. 🔥

At Watson Psychiatry, we’re dedicated to supporting the next generation of providers —
helping PMHNP students obtain their practicum hours and step confidently into their careers. 🌱🧠

🌎 At Watson Psychiatry, collaboration knows no borders.
Our team is continually engaged in global research initiatives and works closely with medical professionals around the world to strengthen our understanding of mental health care.

🇲🇽 Our recent collaboration with colleagues in Mexico provided meaningful insight into how mental health services there differ from those in Colorado. These shared perspectives help us appreciate cultural approaches to care and inspire new ways to support our own community.

🧠 As we learn from international partners, we remain committed to honoring all Colorado state and U.S. federal laws, ensuring that every insight is applied ethically, responsibly, and with respect for those we serve.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn globally so we can care locally. 💙

🌟 A Morning of Kindness at McDonald’s! 🌟

This morning, for one hour, those who rolled through the McDonald’s drive-thru got a heartwarming surprise — their breakfast was completely paid for, courtesy of Nicole, the owner and founder of Watson Psychiatry. 💛

Nicole knows what it’s like when a dollar has to stretch farther than it can go. She’s lived those moments — and it’s why she’s so passionate about giving back now. Today’s act of kindness was her way of paying it forward and reminding our community that help still exists, compassion still matters, and no one is ever truly alone.

And here’s the exciting part… Nicole plans to continue paying it forward at random locations throughout the entire state of Colorado. 🚗✨
So keep your eyes open — you never know when you might be in the right place at the right time.

At Watson Psychiatry, Nicole dedicates her time to lifting others up, especially during life’s most difficult seasons. Through generous donations and a shared commitment to caring for our community, Watson Psychiatry continues to grow as not only a trusted mental health provider, but also a safe haven when support is needed the most. 💙✨

Let today be a reminder: a small act of kindness can change someone’s entire day… or even their life.

🎃🕸️ Happy Halloween from Watson Psychiatry! 👻🕷️

At Watson Psychiatry, we believe Halloween should be fun, safe, and full of smiles (and maybe a few spooky surprises 🎃). Remember — enjoying sweets in moderation and taking care of yourself helps support better mental health and overall well-being.

This year, our adorable office mascots Sophia and Bailey are celebrating Halloween in style and handing out full-sized candy bars! 🍫🐾

We’re here to remind you that mental wellness isn’t just about appointments and treatment — it’s also about joy, balance, and community. 💜

💙 Hope. Healing. A New Beginning. 💙

At Watson Psychiatry, we’ve witnessed how Ketamine treatments can bring renewed light to those struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma — especially when other treatments haven’t helped.

Many of our patients describe Ketamine assisted therapy as a turning point — a chance to feel present, peaceful, and whole again. 🌿

✨ We’re excited to announce our current waitlist for our new KAP program (ketamine assisted psychotherapy) beginning January 2026!

If you’ve been wondering whether Ketamine might be right for you or a loved one, our compassionate team is here to help guide you on your journey toward healing.
