For 6 days average a 60% reduction in 4 pesticide classes. Some of the most high risk include- non- organic potatoes, strawberries and green beans according to the USDA. One of the primary risk chemicals was "organophosphates". These can harm the nervous system and impact children's developing brains. The other chemical is a car bamate which disrupt endocrine functions and adversely impact the male reproductive system.

According to consumer reports- some of the highest risk produce include:

According to UMass Amherst rinsing under cold water can remove some but more effective is to soak for 10-15 minutes in a solution of water and 1tsp baking soda.
