Stay Above the Fray ... but Honor the Fray
"Okay, Krista", you say. "What the heck does THAT mean?"
First, let's define "fray". There are several definitions, but essentially the fray is the unraveling. The worn out end of a rope or fabric that just can't hold anymore. Every psychic, tarot reader, astrologer I know and/or follow has been saying the exact same thing for awhile. Earth is changing in rapid motion - we are witnessing the unraveling of the old ways that not only don't work anymore, but they only ever worked for a select few at the top.
The fray can be ugly. Most of us are kind, empathetic people, and watching how all this plays out is hard. I'm continually answering calls from friends and clients who need me to "talk them off the ledge" because they are having a difficult time understanding and witnessing. I remind them that truth is coming out. Darkness is being forced into the light so we can SEE it, heal it, and change it. It is not just the U.S. It is in every corner of the world.
The Earth is energy. It has a vibration and frequency, along with every creature that inhabits our planet. The Schumann Resonance measures Earth's daily frequency and it has been spiking and shifting continually (topic for another day, so google it). We are shifting into higher frequencies - all of us. For some that is easy, we were mostly there. For others, the journey is bumpier like a car that kicks and sputters. Then there are others who just can't handle it - those are the ones we often see "acting out" in harmful ways on the news.
The point is, we have to recognize that "the fray" exists. It's all good in the end.
OK, Krista, I sort of understand, but what do I do about it, you ask.
How To Stay Above the Fray
• Stay grounded! Many, many ways to ground (again, google/yahoo is a good resource), but essentially it means feeling your feet on the ground, feeling your bottom sitting in the chair. Being totally in your body versus feeling scattered. Call me and I'll walk you through my way of grounding.
• Take Care of Yourself. See me for a Reiki session to fill up your empty spaces and raise your own vibration. Get a massage to release pressure in your body. Pamper yourself with a facial. Eat healthy foods. Spend time with friends and family. Get into nature.
• Be Careful What You Read. Watch those rabbit holes! There's a lot of misinformation out there, so be discerning in whose information you digest. Look for responsible, highly recognized news sources. Stay informed, but set time limits.
• Be Careful What You Read for Enjoyment. Remember the phrase Garbage In, Garbage Out? This is a time where our recreational reading should keep our vibration high. Scary, terror-filled fiction can have a negative effect. Reach for books that are inspirational, or triumph-over-tragedy stories. Books that make you grateful you invested your time. Read things that help you grow and evolve.
• Laugh. What? Yes, laugh in the face of all this. There are so many brilliant comedians in all shapes and sizes who are healing us with laughter. Let them into your psyche! I heard a friend refer to her "Bingo card" -- example: who had XYZ (in the news) on their Bingo Card? Whatever it takes to keep your perspective. Laughter and Love are the highest vibrations (Remember Mary Poppins' Uncle Albert? When they laughed, the whole table lifted toward the ceiling -- truth in childrens' fiction).
• Create. Using our hands to create is the anticipation of progress and hope. When we plant seeds in the garden, we ground ourselves in the earth and EXPECT those seeds to germinate and grow into something beautiful and joyful. We think about it in every motion of our hands and every time we water and fertilize. The same holds true for artistic creativity. We attempt to create something beautiful. Whether it's a simple craft project or something more refined - or even painting the walls in a room - we are shifting the energy.
• Clear Out Clutter -- I teach this in my Feng Shui classes. You want change? Clean out a closet. It shows the Universe you are shifting and changing. Release what no longer serves you. It's very cathartic, along with shifting the energy of your home (which shifts the energy of your neighborhood, town, etc. It's a ripple effect).
• LOVE! The only thing more powerful than hate is love. Love wins. Love conquers all. What the world needs now is love, sweet love. So many phrases and cliches -- and they're all true! Catch yourself when you speak in ways that are less than loving. Look for the good in people. Put a stamp on a card and send some love in the mail to brighten someone's day. Tell someone why you care about them.
• Gratitude. There is SO much to be grateful for. Stop, notice, and express your thanks. I enjoy friends who post beautiful sunsets on Facebook. I stop and notice. Say thank you to every little act of courtesy from sales clerks, or others. Spread kindness. I often say thank you to someone (in my thoughts) who showed their true colors so I can see the transparency.
• Take Time to Feel Your Emotions. After all of the above, remember, we are sentient beings. We have emotions for a reason. Don't give them power to overwhelm you. But DO allow yourself to feel them. And ask what you can do with those emotions. They tend to be a catalyst for action. So..
• Act. What will you do with your emotions? Find positive ways to use your skills and passions. The world needs positive action.
Keep focused, my friends, on a beautiful future. All things are possible - let's help it come faster by holding the door open!
I send my love to you,
~Krista
