Charles Baxter Romero, “Charlie”, at two years old was considered unadoptable due to his advanced escape artist skills. However, Caitlyn fell in love with him as he managed to get out of his cage at the local shelter, running past the worker and into her arms. He was one of the original gangsters and has always been our baby and best friend. Charlie celebrated his 19th birthday, and then, over the last months decided he would like to go join his siblings in the ever after. Last night, we were able to hold him in our arms as the angels greeted him on the other side. He will always be loved. And we miss him so much already. The tears are hard, but we know that he is playing with the ones who went before, and we are so happy for him and grateful for all the beautiful memories. Special thank you to Animal Emergency & Specialty Center in Parker for their compassion gift of peaceful transition and to Aurora Animal Hospital for their care of all our babies over the years with loving kindness.

So many important moms in my life. My own mama, Marilyn. She is truly the best example of unconditional love for me and all humans. She shows every single time with whatever I need. She is God’s Angel on earth and my best friend forever ❤️

My sweet girl Amanda, mom to Cora, the first grand baby. How do you even try to thank a woman for giving her body and life to a child with your son? The love for Cora is and her mom is so precious and endless, and I’ll forever be proud and grateful for the gift of Amanda!

Erica is friend, daughter, and Super Mom to two awesome grandsons, Ethan and Samuel, and the most beautiful granddaughter, Ashlyn. This woman goes above and beyond to make sure her babies get everything they need and more. I’m so in awe of her heart and dedication to her family including my son. Thank you God for Erica!
