There’s something special about seeing a healthy child return to Musana Hospitals, especially a Musana baby coming back for immunization 💛

These moments remind us how much consistent, quality care matters. We’re grateful for parents who take this step to protect their children and support the health of their communities.

Thanks to the generosity of Denver Mattress, Musana students now have new mattresses and a better place to rest and recharge 💤

A simple thing like a good, comfortable mattress can make a big difference.

We’re grateful for this thoughtful support.

Meet Annet, a Village Health Team member in Iganga.

Across each community, local champions like Annet partner with Musana Hospitals to stay closely connected to what’s happening on the ground. They help identify health needs within their villages and make sure community members know where to turn when care is needed.

Annet is one of the many champions who are helping bridge that gap every day.

Much of what we call “impact” wouldn’t exist without constant rescue.

Projects get funded.
Photos get taken.
Reports get written.

But when attention fades, so does the solution.

At the Skoll World Forum, I’m curious about one uncomfortable question: Why do so many good ideas fail as soon as they are left alone? We’ve learned that sustainability isn’t something you add later; it’s the foundation. Ownership isn’t optional—it’s everything.

If it can’t stand without you, it was never meant to last.

Do you remember your first day of Advanced Level?

The excitement, the nerves, the sense that something new is beginning.

Here’s a glimpse into Joseph’s first day at Musana Vocational High School – Kamuli. We’re proud to welcome him and walk alongside him as he works toward becoming the first doctor in his family 🎓

Reaching every corner of the community with healthcare starts with our Village Health Team – a group of local residents who serve as a bridge between Musana Hospital and their communities that share about outreach opportunities and available care.

When we first reached out to Mr. K about joining the team, we didn’t expect that it would also lead to him receiving the surgery he needed.

The newly elected student leaders at Musana Empowerment Center took their oath to serve as a voice for their peers – offering support and encouragement as they help one another stay focused and make the most of their training.

It’s a meaningful step toward building a community where students grow not just in skill, but in leadership too 🌱

Musana hosted over 250 delegates at our 2025 Annual General Meeting, presided over by the RDC, Mr. Pinto Muwada Ismael.

During the session, our CEOs shared updates on Musana’s 2025 performance, offering accountability and insight to stakeholders.

The RDC also pledged support in helping Musana apply for tax exemptions on certain donated items, recognizing the wide range of services provided to the community. We were honored to be joined by dignitaries from across the districts where Musana operates.

As we reflect on the year behind us and look ahead, we remain focused on our long-term vision and confident in our continued ability to serve the communities where we operate.

We’re grateful to all our stakeholders for their continued partnership and meaningful engagement 🤝

Sometimes, all someone needs is access to quality healthcare.

For Marion, a hardworking mother of two and salon owner, an illness forced her to stay home. Unable to work, everything she relied on was suddenly put on hold.

After receiving care at Musana Hospital in Kamuli, Marion was able to recover and return to the life she had built.

Access to healthcare made it possible for her to keep going 💛

This World Health Day, we’re joining the global call from Health Organization (WHO) —“Together for Health: Stand With Science.” 🌍

At Musana Hospitals, that means listening closely to the communities we serve and responding with care that’s both evidence-based and locally informed—from outreach to improving immunization rates.

Because lasting impact in healthcare starts with understanding people, not just problems.

We’re grateful to be part of a broader effort working toward quality healthcare within reach for all.
