OMG, this photo was taken in 2019, pre-pandemic! My mom Silvia and I attended an event with various vendors, we ended up having an absolute blast! And now, looking back at this photo, we’re just being silly and having fun and shopping and shopping, great memories!

Love's terrifying, so we flee
Hiding behind excuses, a coward's plea
Jobs, kids, friends, addiction, a distraction from the heart
Afraid to confront the truth, we play a dishonest part

We prioritize everything, except the love we need
Hiding behind false tales, our true selves we don't read
When will we face the truth, and let our hearts be free?
When will we stop the charade, and let love be?

The reality is clear, we're cowards in disguise
Afraid to take the leap, and open our eyes
To the beauty and the pain, the joy and the strife
Afraid to live, to love, to truly be alive

Tell me, when will you tell the truth?
When will you let your heart speak its youth?
When will you stop hiding, and let love shine through?
Only then, can you truly live, and love, anew.

Real love is no easy path- readiness is everything.

May we learn to love ourselves in the absence of the lover.
