Twisting poses in yoga do far more than stretch the spine. They revitalize digestion, strengthen the core, release tension, and invite fresh perspective.
In my latest blog post, I explore how twists benefit both body and mind — and how to weave them into your practice.

Balancing poses in yoga are more than physical postures. They teach us focus, resilience, and the ability to stay centered in the midst of challenges.
In my latest blog, I explore the physical and mental benefits of these poses, and how they translate into balance both on the mat and in daily life.
Pranayama is yoga's breathwork practice. Add this to your daily routine and you may find:
• More consistent energy levels throughout the day
• Better focus and productivity
• Reduced stress and improved mood
• Stronger respiratory and cardiovascular health
Pranayama is a practical, accessible, and evidence-based tool for modern life. Whether your goal is to manage stress, boost lung capacity, or simply feel more centered, pranayama offers a natural, side-effect-free way to improve overall well-being.
Pranayama involves deliberate, structured breathing patterns that help balance your nervous system, enhance your energy flow, and quiet your mind.
Science supports this. Studies show pranayama practice activates the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and reducing stress responses that contribute to high blood pressure.
Pranayama is the art and science of breath control. Unlike regular breathing, pranayama involves deliberate and structured breathing patterns that help balance the nervous system, enhance energy flow, and quiet the mind, especially in preparing for meditation. Yoga is not a performance. It's not an Instagram-perfect pose performed by a thin young woman or a muscular guy with 1% body fat. Yoga is not a chase for flexibility, or toned muscles, or a bikini-season body. Yoga asana, in its truest form, is an invitation to inhabit yourself fully - steadily, comfortably, and with unwavering presence. It is a pilgrimage from movement into stillness.
