New podcast on The Ali Damron Show!

Have you ever felt that nagging resentment as a working mom? You’re not alone. Let’s talk about it!

Tag someone who needs to hear this!

Resentment often stems from unmet needs and unspoken expectations. When we see our partners taking time for themselves, it can feel unfair, especially when we’re juggling work, home, and family responsibilities. It’s crucial to recognize the internal dialogue we have about our situations.

Instead of blaming our partners, we should reflect on our expectations and needs. Self-care isn't selfish; it's essential for both partners.

So, how do we shift our mindset?

It starts with awareness. Understand that it's okay to voice your needs and desires.

What does self-care look like for you?

Let’s keep this conversation going.

Why do I feel like a different person the week before my period?

PMS can bring:
- Irritability and anxiety
-Poor sleep
-Bloating + water retention
-Headaches
-Breast tenderness
-Breakouts

Estrogen dominance + low progesterone + high stress = a perfect storm.
When your nervous system is already in survival mode, these hormone shifts feel 10x worse.

Balanced hormones + calm the nervous system → you get YOU back all month long.

👉Click the link below if PMS is stealing a week of your life every month. We can do labs if needed, and most importantly, get your body supported in a holistic way to get you feeling better in that hellish week.

So many women come to me convinced their hormones are the problem.

But what I often see is a body stuck in stress physiology.
When the nervous system doesn’t feel safe, it changes everything:

• hormones• digestion• sleep• weight• mood
One of the biggest hidden stressors?

Constantly trying to fix every feeling or symptom immediately.

Allowing your experience doesn’t mean you’re stuck there forever.

It simply tells the brain:
“I’m safe enough to feel this.”

And that’s often where healing begins.

If this resonates and you’re struggling with anxiety, hormone symptoms, sleep issues, or chronic stress, you can schedule a free discovery call by commenting “consult.”

You can journal, breathe, distract, reassure…
and still feel stuck in the anxiety loop.

Not because you’re failing —
but because coping doesn’t teach safety.

Relief comes when your brain stops treating anxiety like a threat.

If you’re done managing symptoms and want real change,

So many women come to me convinced their symptoms are only a hormone problem.

They think:
“It must be perimenopause.”

And yes — hormones are changing during this stage of life.

But what I often see underneath the surface is a body stuck in stress physiology.

When the nervous system is constantly scanning for danger — what we call hypervigilance — the brain sends signals that keep the body in survival mode.

And when that happens, it affects everything:

• hormones
• digestion
• sleep
• weight
• mood
• inflammation

This is why perimenopause can feel so much harder for some women.

The hormonal shifts are real…
but a dysregulated nervous system can amplify them.

If the brain thinks the environment isn’t safe, it changes how the body produces and responds to hormones.

So it’s rarely just hormones.

It’s often hormones + the nervous system.

Healing in this stage of life isn’t always about finding the next supplement or protocol.

Sometimes the most important work is helping your body shift out of survival mode and back into safety.

If this resonates, comment consults and I’ll send you information about working together.

Grief is a journey we all share, but it can feel so isolating. Here’s how I’m navigating it, and what I’ve learned:

💔 Tag someone who needs to hear this.

I lost my mom recently, and it’s been an emotional rollercoaster. We often don’t talk about grief openly, but it’s a universal experience that connects us all.

In the two and a half years since her diagnosis, I’ve seen the strength of family and community. It’s taught me how important it is to share our stories. When we do, we find comfort in knowing we’re not alone.

I’m slowly easing back into work, and I’m grateful for the support I’ve received. The love from this community has reignited my passion for what I do.

Grief is complex and personal, but sharing my journey feels like a way to honor my mom. We’re all human, navigating our paths, and that commonality is comforting.

Let’s keep the conversation going. What does your grief journey look like?
