What an honor to be a sponsor for the Labeled & Loved Retreat at The Star in Frisco! 🌟

Our team, alongside Dr. Regina Crone (our Founder), volunteered at the Welcome Reception—one of the most meaningful parts of the entire weekend.

Dr. Crone, who also co-founded Labeled & Loved, shared why this moment matters so much:

“The very first thing we want these special-needs moms to experience is love. So, we greet them with a procession of hugs. Last night, I hugged 230 moms—each one different, each one sacred.

One mom reached me after her seventh hug, eyes filled with tears. Before I even learned her name, a group of women—complete strangers—embraced her as if she’d always belonged. She had walked in alone, but within ten minutes, love wrapped its arms around her.” 💞

For two hours, we welcomed:

🩷Nervous moms walking in not knowing a soul
🩷Worried moms who had never left their special-needs child before
🩷Moms who were grieving the loss of a child this year
🩷And one mom who took her first-ever flight and first-ever Uber just to be part of this community

Every hug carried the same message:

You belong here. You are loved.

At Therapy & Beyond, we’re honored to support families of children with special needs—to walk beside them, celebrate their courage, and remind them that love and community truly make all the difference. 💗

700+ special needs moms were impacted by Moms Mingle events this year. Many arrived not knowing a single person—yet left surrounded by a community that truly gets them from the moment they walked in the door.

Each mom is welcomed with a procession of hugs, treated to dinner, and guided through an intentional activity designed to spark real connection.

Moms Mingle creates a safe, uplifting space where mothers of children with disabilities can gather to share food, fun, and—most importantly—connection. 💜 The energy was unforgettable, and we are deeply grateful to every mom who joined us in forming this beautiful circle of support.

We are so proud of our very own Dr. Regina Crone, Co-Founder of Labeled and Loved, for sharing her heart and mission on Good Morning Texas yesterday — alongside Julie Hornok, Co-Founder and President of this incredible nonprofit. 💜

Dr. Crone has spent her career supporting families navigating the challenges of a disability diagnosis. Through her work, she recognized a critical need: community and emotional support for the caregivers themselves. That’s why she co-founded Labeled and Loved, a nonprofit devoted to creating safe spaces for connection, renewal, and hope for moms and caregivers who often feel unseen and overwhelmed.

💜 Whether you're a mother, a sibling, or simply someone who loves a child with special needs, Labeled and Loved offers a space to belong, to heal, and to be celebrated.
