If you haven’t had the chance to meet Steph yet, she is our talented Expanded Functions Dental Assistants (EFDA) who works between both Dovetail Dental and Interlakes Family Dental. Stephanie works side-by-side with our doctors, helping provide patients with the highest level of care through her meticulous skill, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence.

Steph plays such an important role in helping our clinical team deliver beautiful results and comfortable experiences for our patients every single day.

Happy Dental Assistants Week 🦷✨

This week we’re celebrating the incredible group of women who keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes and chairside. Our dental assistants are the heart of our practice. They support one another, uplift the entire team, and work seamlessly alongside our doctors every single day.

They’re often the first smiling face patients see, helping them feel welcome and at ease from the moment they walk in. They calm nervous kiddos, hold hands during tough procedures, explain treatment in reassuring ways, take radiographs, prepare rooms, anticipate the doctors’ needs before a word is even spoken, and make sure every appointment flows smoothly and safely.

They juggle so much with skill and grace, all while making patients feel cared for and comfortable. Their compassion, teamwork, and hard work never go unnoticed.

We are beyond grateful for each and every one of you. Thank you for everything you do, not just this week, but every day. 💙

A few simple ways families can help at home
• Brush twice a day with a tiny amount of fluoride toothpaste
• Floss daily once teeth are touching
• Limit sugary snacks and drinks
• Encourage water between meals
• Keep up with regular dental visits

Healthy habits start young, and we love partnering with families to help children feel comfortable, confident, and proud of their smiles. 💙
