🚨 Call Congress to Vote Yes on Increased CHC Funding by January 30 🚨

Lawmakers are racing toward the January 30 funding deadline, and Community Health Centers are fortunate that bipartisan leaders have listened to our calls for action. Earlier today, congressional leaders released bipartisan legislation that includes critical investments to support Community Health Centers and the 52 million patients who rely on them for care. NACHC appreciates the work of bipartisan Congressional leaders to reach this important legislation and urges passage as soon as possible.

The proposal includes:
✔️ $4.6 billion in base funding for Community Health Centers in FY 2026
✔️ $350 million for the National Health Service Corps and $225 million for Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education, with future increases planned
✔️ An extension of telehealth flexibilities through 2027

Now, Congress must act, and the time is now to remind them how critical this funding will be for health centers and their patients. Community Health Centers need funding certainty to continue delivering high-quality, affordable care, address workforce shortages, and ensure access for patients nationwide.

With the recent extreme cold weather, warming centers are available for those looking for a place to get out of the cold and warm up.

To find the locations warming centers in Macomb County, check out the link below where you will find a listing of public facilities where you may go to warm up and get out of the cold weather.
