As we celebrate our 30th year in business, Complete Rehabilitation PT, OT, SLP of the Hamptons, PLLC (d/b/a Complete Rehab PT, OT, SLP) continues its commitment to the districts and students we serve. Founded in 1989, Complete Rehab PT, OT, SLP has been on the vanguard of best school-based practices. We continually evolve our models of service delivery to keep pace with state and national trends. Above all, we are dedicated to our students and their families to ensure the best possible outcomes in the most efficient manner. During today’s fiscal crisis, it is more important than ever for Long Island school districts to provide quality related services within imposed budgetary constraints. Complete Rehab PT, OT, SLP can offer your district high quality, cost effective services that meet the most stringent legal and ethical standards.

Barbara Heim, Complete Rehab’s Executive Director, is a hands-on Occupational Therapist who personally oversees each school district’s related service program. Barbara has more than 38 years of school-based therapeutic intervention and administrative experience. Clinically, she has expertise in numerous areas of school-based therapy with an emphasis on neuro-developmental treatment (NDT), sensory integration therapy, implementation of various handwriting programs followed by training of district staff (at no additional cost to the district); and ensuring all Complete Rehab independent contractors have knowledge of best trends in evidence based practice across all environments. Barbara’s extensive professional knowledge and experience makes her a valuable resource requested by numerous school districts throughout Suffolk County. She prides herself on providing a “personal touch” when being involved in the day to day operations of both management and therapeutic services.

Sara L. Heim, DPT, Complete Rehab's Director of Related Services, has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy with experience in all facets of physical therapy including hospital-based settings, rehabilitation facilities, outpatient clinics and school-based settings. Dr. Heim’s knowledge of medically based services has made her an invaluable resource regarding compliance with Medicaid regulations.

Christine Simmons, a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, is Complete Rehab’s Coordinator of School-Based Services. Christine has been an integral part of managing the day to day operations of Complete Rehab PT, OT, SLP for over 20 years. In addition to providing administrative and clinical support to therapists, Christine has over 32 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
