September is Sepsis Awareness Month

Did you know that sepsis is a life-threatening medical emergency? It happens when the body’s response to an infection damages its own tissues and organs. Every year, sepsis affects millions of people worldwide, and early recognition is the key to saving lives.

Know the signs of sepsis:
* High heart rate or low blood pressure
* Confusion or disorientation
* Shortness of breath
* Extreme pain or discomfort
* Fever, shivering, or feeling very cold
* Clammy or sweaty skin

This September, let’s spread the word. Raising awareness can make the difference between life and death.

World Lung Cancer Day | August 1 🌍

Today, we unite to raise awareness about lung cancer—the leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide.

Established in 2012 by the Forum of International Respiratory Societies, this day reminds us of the importance of:

🔹 Prevention – avoid smoking, reduce air pollution exposure
🔹 Early Detection – regular screenings save lives
🔹 Research & Treatment – advocate for better care and breakthroughs
🔹 Support – stand with those affected 💙

Lung cancer doesn’t discriminate, but together, we can fight back. Spread awareness. Support the cause. Save lives.
