To accomplish this, ITA utilizes both hands on acupressure on select points, as well as hands off, to stimulate the 3 cognitive minds within the brain. This first stimulates the subconscious mind to question, engages the conscious mind to analyze, and finally allows the unconscious mind to surface, thus providing a pathway to self healing,awareness and self realization. ITA involves scanning and a sequence of energy movements, which may differ from one alignment to the next. Each sequence sends a different message to the brain, which then influences the long term memory."* Once old, negative thoughts, beliefs and conditioning are brought to surface and released, positive intent and powerful affirmations can be applied. While taking action is an integral force in forward movement, preceding that action is an equally important force...the period where we feel deeply into our feelings, acknowledge any truths we may have been veiled to; if we are exhausted, yet deny ourselves rest… if we don't feel as though we could swim another wave, yet push even harder .... if We claim to surrender and trust...even though we have no idea what lies ahead- and that frightens us.

Finding comfortability in that nebulous place seems to be a recurring theme for me recently. I share it because I feel as a collective, perhaps many, as I've been hearing and experiencing from friends and strangers I meet and talk with
h, it's been pretty much a universal feel.

So I guess why I'm sharing is to perhaps remind everyone, as well as myself, that fundamentally, the physical body needs rest to perform whatever tasks are required of it.
As well, the emotional and mental mind need rest and moments of stillness where they can gain clarity....which comes through the taking a few breaths of life force in between the thoughts and constant external stimuli...
