March marks social worker month! At Austin Trace we are blessed with a great one ourselves. We would like to show some love to our very own Jeanne Lowe, who has been a cornerstone for nearly 4 and a half years! Outside of enjoying 7brew, you can find Jeanne being a positive light for staff, residents and families alike. Please join us in our recognition of Jeanne for Social Worker month!

Hope everyone enjoyed some St. Patrick's Day fun this week! We celebrated the day with a human slot machine game, a visit from a Leprechaun, and sweet treats. Our slot machine was a hit as everyone was a winner, but we did have multiple jackpot winners!

We got into the Olympic spirit by having our own Winter Olympic games this year! We enjoyed our own version of Curling, Ice Skating, Snowball Toss, and Ice Hockey. Medals were awarded and residents enjoyed trying out some new games to stay active.🏆🥇🎖

Who remembers the parachute in gym class during elementary school? We do!
One of our residents suggested this as an activity, so we did it. What fun! Great exercise, so many smiles along with laughter. This sure warmed us up on a frigid day!

Residents enjoyed having a pizza party last Friday, before the winter storm hit. The sun was shining in, good music was streaming, and you almost forgot about the bitter cold! We enjoy planning activities that help to beat the winter blues. ❄🍕
