Parents: Talk to your pre-teen and teen about su***de. Ask if they have ever thought about it. If so, did they have a plan. Ask them if they know some one that has attempted su***de. If so, talk to them about how they feel about that. Don't make them feel bad about their thoughts and feelings. You will be surprised by your child's knowledge. Please use that as an opportunity to continue communication with your child.
