As this COVID-19 pandemic continues, Dr. Lange is utilizing telehealth to provide medical treatment and communication to her patients. But, what is telehealth? Telehealth connects patients to their healthcare providers through videoconferencing, electronic consultations and virtual communications in place of in person appointments. During this outbreak Dr. Lange is providing telehealth services via telephone calls, zoom calls, Skype calls, and Facebook Chat calls. To combat the coronavirus outbreak and ensure proper medical care for our patients, Dr. Lange will begin telehealth services. Yesterday President Trump announced that the Deparment of Health and Human Services (HHS) is waiving certain Medicare telehealth payment requirements to enable telehealth services to be provided in all settings. Telehealth offers special capacities for remote patient care as well as assisting in the reduction of disease transmission. Dr. Lange will be available to treat patients on various platforms including phone calls, Skype, Zoom, and messaging (Facebook) for ALL ESTABLISHED PATIENTS.
