Carnival fun came to Bethany Village! On August 29th, our assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care communities came together for a day filled with laughter, family, and unforgettable moments.

From the incredible Big Top transformation of our Wholeness of Life Center to the one-of-a-kind Strong Man machine built by our very own Maintenance team (special shoutout to Ken 💪) …the festivities were nothing short of magical.

A heartfelt thank-you to our amazing staff, residents’ families, and partners like Perennial Advantage and Ohio Living Bethany Hospice for helping us make this celebration possible. 💚

For an astounding 𝟱𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, Leslie Laramy has shared her expertise in dietary care with our community of older adults. Officially our organization’s longest-tenured employee, her career has spanned five of Bethany’s nearly eight decades of existence!

As a Dietetic Technician (RD/T) serving both long-term nursing and Bethany Rehabilitation Center, Leslie has faithfully ensured resident well-being through quality nutrition assessment. But beyond her dedication, she’s also known for her quick wit and one-liners that keep everyone smiling—a gift that’s just as nourishing as the meals served here.

Today, Leslie paraded through cheers from residents and fellow employees, followed by words of appreciation and the dedication of our newly named employee break room: the "Laramy Lounge." Staff gathered for lunch and gelato to honor this remarkable milestone.

Though no retirement date has been set…Leslie’s legacy of service (since 1975!) is already etched in Bethany Village history 💚
