Exciting Announcement: New Outreach Clinic!

We are delighted to share that starting today, Central Nebraska Orthopedics will be launching an outreach clinic at Merrick Medical Center. Dr. Seth Wardyn and Dr. Jake Bianco will be providing coverage every Tuesday in the outpatient specialty clinic and operating room. We look forward to expanding our orthopedic services through this partnership.

If you wish to schedule an appointment with either of these providers at Merrick, please reach out to your P*P for a referral. Alternatively, you can call us directly at 308-946-3015 and request our specialty clinic, where our team will gladly assist you with the scheduling process.

Wednesday Win:
We are excited to announce that our sleep program has successfully achieved ACHC reaccreditation with zero deficiencies. This is our third consecutive successful accreditation survey for Merrick Medical Center.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Somnitech, our partner in sleep studies, as well as to Andrew Sapp, our Respiratory Therapist, and Misti Morris, our CNO, for their unwavering commitment and hard work in providing this essential service to our community.

During the survey, Andrew was acknowledged by Amber Brown, the President of Somnitech, as a candidate for the Sleep Champion Program. Amber remarked, “You all demonstrate an excellent partnership and have immense potential for growth, thanks to your incredible team.”

Stay Nourished on Any Budget

With rising food costs, it can be more challenging to maintain a nutritious diet. Use of a local food pantry and food resources can be an excellent way to supplement one's food budget.

If more assistance is needed in locating resources, a SNAP/Food Resource Hotline (1-855-444-5556 (M-F 8am-6pm) is available through the Food Bank for the Heartland's SNAP outreach team. Assistance in locating a pantry, walking through the SNAP application process, as well as access to other community resources is provided through this service.
