Holidays can be rough for some. I've actually had many where I was either alone, without family, or in some facility trying to get my life together, so I get it!!!

You're not alone, we never truly are...

Just wanted to say today I truly sit in gratitude for everyone and everything I have today.

Life is GOOD!

The future of health care is NOT doctors and prescriptions( sorry not sorry)

What if, this future was possible:

-viewing the grocery store as your pharmacy,

-Eating nutrient dense, whole foods as preventive tools for disease

-Moving your body and eating right instead of pills to create better mental health

-Discovering mindfulness and meditation practices for stress and anxiety

-Using exercise and mobility training for chronic pains
..because it is, or could be.

Don't get me wrong, when the there's an accident or when there's a serious emergency I'm glad we have western medicine.

I'm thankful for all the tests and equipment that's been developed over the years

I'm thankful for doctors when we're sick and something needs to be diagnosed...

BUT, I don't and can't get behind our lack of focus on root causes and preventive medicine practices

Becoming completely reliant on any one system with zero responsibility on our part is never gonna be a good thing in my mind

We also can't keep going on not fixing root causes to problems and relying on medications with endless side effects

It's wasn't that long ago when the holistic view was the dominant way to treat, and in some cultures it still is

Holistic simply means viewing and treating the human body as a whole.

Therefore making EVERYTHING  we do, eat, consume, and surround ourselves with effects us one way or another

Food and exercise is one of the greatest most underutilized tools we have for self care,and I believe this is the future

Your health is very much in your own hands.
