Minnesota needs our support.

Across the state, ICE is stopping, harassing, and detaining people, regardless of citizenship status, tearing families apart and disrupting everyday life. Schools have been forced to close or go virtual. Communities are being pushed into fear just for leaving home, going to work, or taking their kids to class.

And still, people are organizing. Protecting each other. Building safety beyond the state.

But they need more resources to keep showing up.

Stand With Minnesota has created a community-vetted directory of places to donate, shared by organizers on the ground who are responding in real time.

If you can give, give today by visiting: standwithminnesota.com

Sharing that, in the midst of all this pain and anger and senselessness, we can connect.

We can show up - and activate- for ourselves, each other, our communities, for healing. Move slow if you need to- get angry if you need to- things do not not make sense and the world is not showing any indicators of moving in a clarifying direction.

But we can define our values, invest our resources. Call you representatives, activate in your communities, donate (money! time! goods! services!) to causes that matter to you. The world is on fire- but we're together.

If you are ever curious what my house sounds like when the practice has closed for the day- it's 396 Hz, usually! Engaging in intentional forms of rest, relaxation, & recovery- any nervous system treats you may need✨ - is an essential practice when navigating life and staying balanced.

Different frequencies interact with the nervous system through rhythm, vibration, and pitch. Lower frequencies are often experienced as more grounding or calming. Mid-range tones are commonly used to support regulation and a sense of safety. Higher frequencies are sometimes used to support alertness and orientation. That’s why the same sound can feel soothing in one state and uncomfortable in another- get curious and try out a few tones to find what aligns with you!

This chart organizes specific frequencies by how people often feel and how those tones are commonly used to support trauma, stress, and pain-related nervous system patterns. Save this to come back to later to treat your nervous system! 🩵
