Shane brings nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare coordination, social work, and project management — with a deep passion for helping patients feel seen, supported, and empowered.

From transplant support to gender-affirming care, Shane has spent his career guiding individuals through complex care systems and connecting them to vital community resources. His work centers on compassion, accessibility, and whole-person care.

A fierce advocate for LGBTQIA+ inclusive healthcare, Shane is committed to building spaces where patients feel truly affirmed and respected. He believes in meeting people where they are and walking alongside them every step of their health journey.

We’re thrilled to introduce the newest member of the Schine Health team — Dr. Alicia Spalding, a dedicated naturopathic physician who brings a deeply holistic and inclusive approach to patient care.

Dr. Spalding is known for her compassionate, patient-centered philosophy that meets individuals where they are. She believes in empowering her patients to thrive — not just survive — through thoughtful, integrative support tailored to each unique health journey.

A proud graduate of Bastyr University, Dr. Spalding holds a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and serves as the executive director of Nature Nurture Farmacy, a community-based organization focused on botanical medicine, sustainable food cultivation, and health education.

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll find Dr. Spalding exploring the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest with her pups, or tending to her garden of nourishing food and medicine.
