We built ROBOTS 🤖 !! All while using marshmallows, pretzels, and candy—and had a blast doing it! This hands-on activity engaged our senses from start to (chomp!) finish. 😁 Yum!

Our residents had a wonderful time creating their very own charcuterie boards—and the results were delicious in more ways than one! From selecting colors and textures to arranging cheeses, fruits, and treats, this activity was full of creativity and connection.

Wellness is something we strive for— at every stage of the aging journey. Our residents have a fun time moving and grooving from the comforts of a chair to tone muscle, practice balance, and spend time among friends. It’s a wonderful, accommodating part of our week!

HAPPY 65TH ANNIVERSARY: Two residents at Centralia Point Assisted Living and Memory Care recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.

Dennis and Judy Wendt met at Meadow Glade Adventist Academy in 1950.

“Judy saw Dennis sitting outside of the principal’s office and she threw him some candy, and the rest was history,” a staffer at Centralia Point wrote.

The couple has two boys, Mark, 63, and Jeff, 61, with four grandchildren between the two of them.

Before having children, they were married on Jan. 8, 1961.

Judy is a retired massage therapist. Dennis is a retired auto and repair salesman.

"He still feels crazy about her!" Dennis said during an interview.

“It's been an interesting ride.” Judy said.

“Happy Anniversary to these two!” Centralia Point wrote in an email to The Chronicle.

The couple has been living at Centralia Point for two years.
