Heritage Woods of Centralia Heritage Woods of Centralia is an affordable assisted lifestyle community for adults 65 and older.

Heritage Woods of Centralia provides a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home for older adults who need some help to maintain their independence. The community is fully certified to operate through the Illinois Supportive Living program, which enables us to serve adults 65 and older of all financial means, including those on Medicaid. Our focus is on providing resid

ents with the love, compassion and dignity they deserve in addition to the personal assistance and help with medications that they need. Heritage Woods of Centralia is managed by Gardant Management Solutions, a mission-driven company that is the largest provider of affordable assisted living in Illinois. Gardant also manages the Villas at Heritage Woods of Centralia, a neighborhood of duplex homes nearby. The Villas are designed for older adults ages 55 and older of all income levels.

Heritage Woods started Balloon Fest 25 with a beautiful night of balloons and ice cream!!! What a crowd we had!!!
There were a lot of ooh's and aah's!! Some experienced this for the first time and some it was their 36th time!!
No matter how many times, it was enjoyed by all and it never gets old!!

August 14th of 1969, Bill, one of our residents at Heritage Woods of Centralia, hitchhiked more than 300 miles from upstate New York to attend a music festival. A music festival that ended up being one of the most renowned music festivals in history. Woodstock.
Woodstock was August 15th-18th and this year marks it’s 56th anniversary.
Bill said he watched every musical performance, and his favorite was Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Another stand out for him was Jimi Hendrix. He said Jimi was the very last performance of the festival and fell on Monday, when most people had already left and went home to return to work. Bill was in the front row and less than 20 feet or so from Jimi.
Bill said he has never forgotten the whole experience and after all of the music festivals and concerts he has attended in his life, there will be nothing that compares to Woodstock.

Such a sweet afternoon Cupcake Decorating with Emily! We all learned a thing or two from her cake decorating skills. We really enjoyed making some cupcakes really pretty and not only were they pretty but they were delicious!!! We didn't keep all the cupcakes for ourselves, we went around and shared cupcakes with staff and residents that we were lucky enough to find out and about here at Heritage Woods!
