Now Hiring: Full-Time Dietary Cook (Healthcare Setting)

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Cook to join our healthcare team full time. This role is vital in providing nutritious, high-quality meals that support the health and well-being of our patients/residents.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
Follow special diet requirements (therapeutic, modified textures, allergies, etc.)
Maintain proper food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
Work collaboratively with dietary and healthcare staff
Assist with inventory, food storage, and portion control as needed
Qualifications:

Previous cooking experience (healthcare, long-term care, or institutional setting preferred)
Knowledge of special diets and food safety standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
ServSafe certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)

Schedule:
Full-time hours
Rotating weekends/holidays may be required

There was a lot to celebrate in September…
We recognized our staff in several departments with DSP week, Housekeeping/Laundry Week, and Rehab Week. We are so grateful for their tireless effort and the care they give ❤️
We also saw our dear friends, Tina and Lori, begin their journey into the enchanted land known as retirement. Congratulations and best wishes to them both!
We wrapped up summer by enjoying trips to the park, some shopping, and one of our faves - ice cream!
Hope everyone had a great summer! Now time for spooky season 👻🎃
