Community Liaison Jamie recently attended the “Tune In and Let Go” event in Allenwood, PA, where 40 representatives from facilities across the state gathered for an immersive experience centered on holistic wellness. Attendees had the opportunity to explore a range of innovative healing modalities, including Sound Healing, Art Therapy, Forest Therapy and Acupuncture. Each session provided valuable insights into alternative approaches that support emotional well-being and promote overall healing.

Events like this highlight the growing importance of integrating holistic practices into care, helping individuals reconnect, recharge and restore balance.

The 4th Annual Lebanon County Mental Health Awareness Festival was a powerful reminder that community connection truly matters. Even the rain couldn’t slow us down! With 50 incredible vendors, 215 registered participants and an amazing $5,625 raised through sponsorships, the day was filled with purpose, resilience and heart.

From baby kangaroos and goats to therapy dogs, educational resources and an outpouring of community support, this year’s festival brought joy, awareness and most importantly, hope. Thank you to everyone who showed up, supported and made this event so special. Because at the end of the day, we really are better together.

Last week, our Community Liaison, Jamie, proudly participated in the 5th Annual Walk for Mental Health Awareness in Nanticoke, PA at Patriot Square. Hundreds of community members came together for a powerful day of connection, support and advocacy.
