When families come to Compass, they’re often carrying questions, worry, grief, and love all at once. For so many of them, one of the first calm, caring voices they meet is Roya Testerman.

As our Lead Social Worker, she listens without judgment, advocates for what families need, and helps guide them through decisions that can feel overwhelming. Whether she’s supporting caregivers, comforting loved ones, or walking beside patients through tender moments, Roya shows up with empathy, strength, and genuine compassion every single day.

We are so lucky to have Roya on our team, and we are grateful for the heart she brings to everything she does. 💙

Our support group offers a safe, caring space to share, listen, and connect with others who truly understand. Together, we talk about coping, honoring memories, and finding gentle ways forward - one step at a time.
