In last month’s session, we explored the ways that grateful living is distinct from gratitude - how it’s an orientation to life, a way of living each day with greater capacity for presence, awareness, meaning-making, and joy. In other words, grateful living is a way of being. If we could now flip a switch and instantly embody the principles of grateful living, wouldn’t that be amazing! That is the practice… I hope to see you there!

The Echolight is a new alternative to DXA scan for assessing bone health. It uses the REMS (Radiofrequency Echographic Multi Spectrometry) technique to assess and diagnose conditions of low bone density, like osteoporosis.

In contrast to a DXA scan, this technology does not use any ionizing radiation. In addition to measuring the bone mineral density (BMD) and the associated T-score and Z-score, the Echolight technology also measures BONE QUALITY, providing a "fragility" score for the patient's lumbar vertebrae (spine) and femoral neck (hip.) I am a fan!
