Less than a week to get your votes in ! Something I’ve been pondering.. I was like “I’m not sure if I’m “fit” to be on the board and then I remembered- I grew up playing as a little girl in downtown Chadron at All Season’s Clothing , my dad ran one of the 2 firework stands in Chadron, my parents had the business of Mary’s Downtown Athletics, so this was where I LEARNED business, community, and being helpful to EVERYONE in and around our community! I learned my customer service skills, counting money back, etc etc. Then… my first job outside of these family businesses was at good ol Country Kitchen as a waitress/supervisor. After living in CO for over 15 years I was able to learn many other beautiful things to never think I’d be back in my beautiful community running my own (family) business! Pretty amazing and very grateful! Whether I get voted in or not I’ll never stop being grateful and doing everything in my power to give back to our community! Thanks for the opportunity and once again good luck to the other two candidates. Also- Chadron is sooo lucky to have Gabby & Dewayne! Thank you two for all your time and positivity you are both truly amazing people and Chadron is lucky to have the both of you 🤩❤️
