Let's highlight another one of our clinicians! Robin will always have a special place in my (Mandy) heart. She was one of the first to believe in Inspirit and was a huge support to me in the beginning years. It's an honor that she has joined our team and continues to provide support to clients and clinicians as well!

Robin joined Inspirit Counseling in July 2023 and brings a compassionate, supportive approach to her work with clients. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Chadron State College and her master’s degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Robin has experience helping individuals navigate a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and family conflict.
Robin believes in meeting clients where they are while empowering them to recognize their strengths and make meaningful, lasting changes. She uses evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs.
She enjoys working with clients across the lifespan and offers individual, family, and couples counseling. Robin currently sees clients at our 4th Street Chadron location and is passionate about helping individuals and families move toward greater balance, connection, and well-being.

Kimberly is an intern at Inspirit Counseling while pursuing a master’s degree in counseling at Chadron State College. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults through both her professional roles and volunteer work. Her therapeutic approach is trauma-focused and existential, grounded in a client-centered foundation. She strives to create a safe, empathetic, and empowering counseling environment where individuals feel comfortable exploring their experiences, recognizing their strengths, gaining insight, and developing personal meaning as they move forward in their healing journey.

Did you know that Inspirit has a provider who specializes Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, Child Parent Psyhcotherapy AND Play therapy?

We’re proud to spotlight Sara Dahlgren, DSW (she/her) and the depth of training and intention she brings to her work with children and families. Sara holds a Doctorate in Social Work and is certified in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an evidence-based model shown to strengthen caregiver–child relationships, improve emotional regulation, and reduce challenging behaviors.
In addition to her doctoral training and PCIT certification, Sara is actively working toward completing certifications in Play Therapy and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). These approaches allow her to meet children and caregivers at their developmental level, address the impact of stress and trauma on relationships, and support healing through safe, attuned connection.
Sara’s clinical approach is relational, developmentally informed, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens within secure relationships. She focuses on building caregiver confidence, increasing consistency and predictability for children, and helping families develop practical skills that translate into everyday life.

Inspirit has some VERY exciting news! Shicara Irvin is an APRN who will be joining Inspirit via Telehealth to assist in medication management. Please join me in welcoming Shicara!

Shicara Irvin, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She began her healthcare career in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Medical Service Apprentice. She earned her Licensed Practical Nurse diploma from Augusta Technical College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Norfolk State University, a Master of Science in Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner from Walden University, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley.

Shicara has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults in diverse clinical settings, including acute care, inpatient detoxification, residential treatment, community mental health, and private practice. She specializes in treating PTSD, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, sleep disorders, and psychotic disorders, with particular expertise in caring for veterans.

Her clinical approach is holistic and patient-centered, emphasizing the integration of mental and physical health. Outside of practice, she enjoys reading, traveling, volunteering in underserved communities, and spending time with her daughter.
