Who we are....

The mission of the Northwest Eye Center is to provide quality eye care with excellent customer service. We do that by considering the unique needs of each and every patient. For some it may be about fashion, for others it may be about the visual demands required by their occupation, and for many it may be about the proper diagnosis of an eye disease using the latest technology. No matter your motivation in seeking an eye care home, our motivation in patient care is YOU! You are the reason behind the advanced technology we provide, the specialized contact lenses we fit, the quality frames and lenses we offer, the after hours emergency care we make available. We go the extra mile because our patients deserve it!

At the Northwest Eye Center, you will find a friendly staff who focuses on excellent customer service, a quality lacking in medical care today. Kim Diehl and Mark Dannar have been in the eye care field for over ten years. They have a ton of knowledge and experience regarding everything from frame and lens selection to frame adjustments to eye emergency triage. Kim is the office go to for medical coding and billing questions. Mark is very knowledgeable about contact lenses and is responsible for edging the lenses to fit your frames onsite. Shelby Doescher, Maaryn Davis and Ashley Reeves are our optometric assistants. They handle most of the pre-testing for our optometrists. Shelby, Maaryn and Ashley are great with patients from infants to the elderly.

The reason Dr. Davis became an optometrist was to serve others and provide solutions to eye care issues that patients struggle with. He truly cares about his patients and that is evident by the services and products he provides at the Northwest Eye Center. Dry eye care, difficult to fit contact lenses, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment are all a small piece of what Dr. Davis has brought to the Northwest Eye Center in order to expand his ability to meet the needs of people throughout the Panhandle of Nebraska and even southern South Dakota.

Dr. Jordyn Stevens joined the Northwest Eye Center in August 2018. She was born and raised in Chadron. She graduated from Chadron High School and Chadron State College. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree in May 2018 from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Stevens graduated at the top of her class and is very knowledgeable about contact lenses, especially for those who have struggled with contact lenses in the past. Her experience with ocular disease will be a tremendous benefit to the practice.
