💙 September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month 💙

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men during their lifetime, making awareness and early detection essential for better outcomes.

At Chadron Hospital, we provide cancer care close to home through our oncology pharmacy and certified chemotherapy nurses. By offering advanced treatments locally, patients can stay near family and community while receiving the care they need.

Our Circle of Light program also helps relieve the financial strain that often comes with cancer treatment — assisting families with travel costs, lodging, healthy meals, rent, utilities, and medications.

This September, we honor the men in our community facing prostate cancer, celebrate survivors, and remember those we have lost. Together, we stand for hope, health, and healing.

🚗⚡ New EV Charging Stations at Chadron Hospital – Funded by NPPD

This project was made possible through funding support from Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD), and we’re proud to bring this new amenity to our community!

📍 Location: Upper parking lot, southeast corner of the hospital (between the Main Entrance and the Emergency Entrance)
🔌 Capacity: Two Level 2, 12KW, dual-port stations – up to four vehicles charging at once
🕒 Availability: Open to employees and the public 24/7
💲 Cost: Based on energy used

We’re proud to offer this service as part of our commitment to sustainability and expanded community access.
