For a full- or partial-arch osteomy, implantation and immediate temporary restoration, Zuga experts download the digital files the dentist has placed on ZugaLink, and designs and manufactures a custom 3-in-1 guide that allows the dentist to save significant time and improve precision on a full or partial arch osteomy, implantation and temporary restoration. The final design is reviewed with the dentist, then manufactured at Zuga’s Global Design Center, then shipped to the dentist very quickly.

Why should I have an implant rather than a 3-unit-bridge?

1. Implants don’t damage the teeth next to the missing tooth. For a 3-unit-bridge, the dentist must grind down the teeth next to the missing tooth, potentially reducing their life.

2. Implants usually last for your life-time – bridges sometimes have to be replaced – so implants can be the long-term low cost solution.

3. Implants preserve bones, minimizing bone loss that often occurs with a 3-unit bridge, thus helping maintain facial contours as you age.

Can a denture or a bridge be connected to multiple implants?
Dentists use implants to retain bridges or dentures. Implant retained protheses do not require adhesive, do not move around in your mouth, and typically aren’t removed except when you or your dentist want to clean it. Also, implant retained protheses can have stronger chewing functionality as well.

Zuga dental implants are manufactured from high quality cold worked medical grade 4 Ti. The threads are designed to maximize surface area in contact with the jaw. Surfaces process yields a clean highly roughened surface for optimizing osteointegration. All implant kits include an implant and a sealing cap. Proprietary implant/abutment connection requires Zuga Tool Kit to place the implant and restore it. The implant connection is a conical low angle taper for a cold welding of mating portion from implant to abutment. Platform switch - all Zuga implants work with all Zuga abutments.
