The reason things seem to be dull when they were fine a month ago? Dryness. There’s a couple easy lifestyle adjustments that you can make to help to improve your dryness, without spending a dime!

By incorporating the tiniest of adjustment in their daily routine, this patient (and a few others) help us to ship back plastic to be recycled rather than taking up space at the landfill. It may not seem like a lot, but the smallest of efforts truly do add up. Fireworks-related eye injuries can combine blunt force trauma, heat burns and chemical exposure. An eye injury from fireworks is a medical emergency. Call 911 or seek immediate medical care. In the meantime, follow these guidelines:

- Do not rub your eyes.
- Do not rinse your eyes.
- Do not apply pressure.
- Do not remove any objects that are stuck in the eye.
- Do not apply ointments or take any blood-thinning pain medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen unless directed by a doctor.
