This is Dr Josh Nehring formerly of Dakota Regional Periodontics in Rapid City. After his daughter passed away in a tragic car accident a few years ago, he and his family started a foundation to help others with grief. He is currently on a year long, crosscountry run to all the capitals of the lower 48 states. On what I believe was one of his last days of clinical dentistry before embarking on his journey, he called me to talk about a big case we were collaborating on. But the conversation led to us to talking about my sister Courtney. He asked if he could devote one day of his run to her... I am lucky and humbled to consider him a colleague and friend. If you are out on the road in Lyman/Tripp/Gregory counties the next couple days and see these guys, give them a wave and a honk. Truly a meaningful cause for so many as we work to turn grief into something positive. Be sure to check out the srvivrs and love like Lilli foundations and track Dr. Nehring's progress.
