Planning your autumn travels? Here's my 2025 Peak Fall Foliage estimate for Pennsylvania based on the past seven years of actual reports from the DCNR. This map has been ripped off by lesser sites, but this is the original that I personally update each year. While things can vary from year to year, this map should help you get a rough idea of when fall colors might peak in each PA county based on historical data.

Note that this map is not based on analysis of the weather or any other scientific approach, just trying to average out the peak week based on on-the-ground data going back to 2018. Given elevation differences, areas in each county will peak a bit before or after the peak week, so if you plan a trip a week before or especially after these dates, you'll still find lots of color in the area to enjoy.
