James Mcquait

We are proud to recognize James Macquait as our Resident of the Month for July!
James has been part of the Chambersburg family for almost six months. He enjoys relaxing with his favorite TV shows, admiring the view from his window, and especially cherishes visits from family and friends.
Growing up with his twin brother, James spent his days building a treehouse, swimming, and playing hide and seek. One of his most memorable jobs was hauling cattle by ship from Baltimore to Puerto Rico every week for a year. He later spent 42 years living in Florida, where he loved traveling to Key Largo. He enjoys fishing and once caught a 100+ lbs snapper.
Jamesโs taste in music ranges from country-western to classic rock, with favorites like Styx, Led Zeppelin, and The Who. His favorite movie series is Lonesome Dove.
He has fond memories of his petsโa Bulldog mix named Willie and a Chihuahua named Peanutโand enjoys both cows and whales. As a child, his favorite Christmas gift was a .30-30 Wi******er rifle, and he loved playing baseball in the outfield and basketball. James even used to play Santa Claus for kids in his community during the holidays.
James supports the Dallas Cowboys and the Baltimore Orioles, and he always has kind words for the staff here at Chambersburg: โThey do a great job.โ
