Laurel Life Gives Back

School-Based Therapist, Andrea Hagan, volunteered her time behind the scenes at a local dance recital. From helping in dressing rooms, repairing costumes, and keeping dancers organized, Andrea made sure everything ran smoothly for the performers.

Andrea shared: “Dance has been a part of my life for over 10 years. Without volunteers to help behind the scenes, these recitals wouldn’t be possible.”

Laurel Life Gives Back

You Are Not Alone

For parents struggling to connect with their child or understand emotional and behavioral challenges, Laurel Life’s Family-Based Mental Health Services (FBMHS) can provide a lifeline.

FBMHS is designed to:
✅ Strengthen and support families
✅ Reduce hospitalizations and out-of-home placements
✅ Empower parents with strategies to care for their child at home
✅ Build lasting connections to community resources

Services are provided in the home and community by a team of two clinicians, with treatment lasting up to 32 weeks depending on need. Families also receive crisis support, skill building, and an aftercare plan to ensure continued support.

📌 Eligibility: Children ages 3–21 with a mental health diagnosis, enrolled in Medical Assistance (Perform Care or Community Care).
📞 Referrals can be made by parents, schools, physicians, or other providers with a prescription letter.
