We’ve come so far, together and helping to create this amazing Community Family has been one of the most fun and joyous times in my life. Thank you for all of the opportunities, life lessons, laughs and cries. I am a different person because of this community, and and I can say, with everything in my soul, that this is the best home health and outpatient facilities in the United States. Our patients and their families can vouch for this . I will miss each of you and hope our paths will cross again in the future.
Much love-
Rebecca Chepren, PT
Director of Operations

May is recognized each year as National Arthritis Awareness Month. Arthritis is a disease that impacts more than 50 million Americans, making it the number one cause of disability in the country.

The first steps in conquering arthritis are learning the facts, understanding your condition and knowing that help is by your side.
If you or someone you know has arthritis, consulting with a physical or occupational therapist can be beneficial. They can assess your condition, develop a personalized treatment plan, and guide you through exercises and techniques to manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life

Please call us for a Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy evaluation.

Gardening can be a fun and rewarding activity, but it's important to practice safety precautions to avoid accidents and injuries. Here are some safe gardening tips:

*Wear protective clothing: Wear gloves, long-sleeved shirts, pants, and closed-toe shoes to protect yourself from cuts, scrapes, and insect bites.
*Use proper tools: Use tools that are appropriate for the task at hand and in good working condition. Make sure to use sharp tools and keep them clean and dry.
*Lift heavy objects correctly: Lift with your legs and not your back to avoid straining or injuring yourself.
*Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade to avoid heat exhaustion.
*Use caution when working with chemicals: Follow the instructions carefully when using fertilizers, pesticides, or herbicides. Wear protective clothing and use the products in a well-ventilated area.
*Be mindful of your surroundings: Watch out for uneven ground, rocks, and other hazards that could cause you to trip or fall.
*Practice proper sun safety: Wear a hat and use sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays.

By following these safe gardening tips, you can enjoy your time outdoors and create a beautiful garden without risking injury.
