For many clients, substance use is intertwined with their s*xual behavior and expression. The recovery process often overlooks the impact of sobriety on s*xual expression. This program will explore the relationship between s*x and substance use with an emphasis on methamphetamine and men who have s*x with men; review s*xual templates and scripts, how they are developed; assessing and overcoming the shame associated with high risk behaviors; integrating s*xual activity into the recovery plan and tools for helping clients return to healthy s*xual interactions while in recovery.

"For Partners of Trans/Non-Binary/Gender Expansive People" facilitated by Tonya Keith, Certified Somatic S*x Coach, ABS & AASS Somatic S*xologist is a coaching group open to folks nationwide who are in need of support in a place that centers the experience of the partner, not the person transitioning.

Share the joys and challenges faced by partners of transgender, non-binary, and gender-expansive individuals, including celebrations, intimacy, fear, grief and loss, myths, exploration, curiosity, family impact, redefining identities, and more.

How many of us took a Human S*xuality Course in graduate school? Not too many, I bet. Yet we are expected to treat the whole person. How do we do this when so many of us are unprepared or uncomfortable talking about s*x? In this course, attendees will be introduced to methods of self-examination and how their world view about s*x shows up in their work. Attendees will learn what it means to be a s*x positive therapist and determine how they may want to expand their professional identity when it comes to the topic of s*x within their practice. Attendees will be provided a s*xual health assessment and key indicators to help determine when a referral to a Certified S*x Educator, Counselor, or Therapist would be appropriate.
