Grounding IS medicine. I know there are gimmicks and misinformation out there about it, but try this grounding exercise at the most basic level:
Go outside barefoot. Sit, stand, lie down, or do resting pose on the earth.
Close your eyes, maybe point your face into the sun or the moon.
Take a few slow, deep breaths.
Say out loud: “I am grateful. Thank you for all of this.” Say it a few times. FEEL it. See what comes up for you.
It’s crazy how something so simple has the potential to bring up big emotions, deep thoughts, or elicit peace in your mind and your body.
