International Boost Self-Esteem Month

February is a reminder to focus on confidence and self-worth. Struggles with self-esteem can impact relationships, work, and mental health—but support can make a difference. Counseling helps challenge negative self-talk and build healthier self-beliefs. Boosting self-esteem can be a preventative measure against mental health disorders and encourages positive self-talk.

National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (Feb 23 – March 1)

Eating disorders and disordered eating affect people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds—and they are about far more than food or weight. They are often connected to anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, control, and self-worth.

Awareness helps reduce stigma, encourage early intervention, and remind individuals and families that support is available. Recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and healing looks different for everyone—but help can make a meaningful difference.

Counseling provides a compassionate space to explore body image concerns, unhealthy eating patterns, and the emotional challenges that often accompany them. You don’t have to navigate this alone.

📞 Call 217-398-9066 to learn how Elliott Counseling Group can support individuals and families during Eating Disorders Awareness Week and beyond.
