Caring For Progression Inst. Caring For Progression will be an institute that strives to bring out the best in every individual

Caring for Progression was created in June 2011 and is a work in process created by Pierre Tuell, Raheem Beauford, Jalisa Spires, and Lashondra Porter specializing in communication, academic enrichment, and mental intelligence. We will create a place for the community to feel at home and like family instead of a just a customer. Each individual in our program will have a personal workout or plan specially created for them by our staff and obtainable by that member. Our upcoming organizational facilities will have a recreational setting filled with top of the line gym equipment, a pool, a yoga and meditation area, etc. It will also have a wing for communications and speech which will consist of rooms and offices for our members and staff to have a quiet setting to work in. That wing will also have an auditorium and ballroom for multiple purposes. The last and final wing will be for mental intelligence and will consist of rooms and offices for our members and staff to really get to know each other and figure out the best way to help the patient's intended problem. Each building will have a nutrition bar filled with great tasting smoothies and other nutritious snacks to better the body and the mind.

CHILD KILLED: Kenyon Parker, 15, was shot & killed at a basketball tournament at the Garfield Park Gym in the 100 block of North Central Park Ave. in West Humboldt Park neighborhood, West Side on August 16, 2018. Police arrested another child and a gun was recovered.
