Introducing myself 🌻 Amber Korn LMT I have a private practice in Mesa. As a licensed massage therapist, I customize each and every massage to fit my clients goals. I consider myself to be an integrative health care professional with the skills to relieve pain, and with consistent care my clients improve their quality of life to levels they never thought possible. I believe this is possible because my clients share with me the information from their work with their health care providers, and working within my scope of practice can bridge the gap. Taking my time to learn their body’s stress, tension and pain patterns. My practice is grounded in science and evidence based research.

Every conscious thought and every unconscious pattern creates a reaction in our facia.
This is because of its direct connection to our autonomic nervous system.
Experiences can trigger the fascia to relax when we are in pns, and experiences can cause the fascia to tighten up in a sns response.
Our sns response is a very powerful life saving response.
Unfortunately when we don’t have an opportunity to process the traumatic event the tissue never really goes back to homeostasis.

It is safe to say every time we are doing bodywork and increasing function in the tissues we are allowing the body to finally release those trapped traumas.
