We hosted the state meet at yesterday ~ it was a full tilt day of exciting lifts, and friendly but fierce competition. It felt good to be back in my platform-side role as emergency medical, as well as competition pit crew ... 44 years into my professional career, and it still never gets old! not too many pics, as I was actually working... sadly, one possible career-ending injury... some other dings and pings. Thanks to also on call, coaching and hosting. also pictured and .strength . all the best at Nationals for the qualifiers!

Completed some advanced TMJ training.. what a class! so much great information and increased understanding of this area which affects so many people~
highly recommend Structure and Function classes!

Assessment and Treatment of TMD introduce the anatomy and biomechanics of the TMJ and TMJ dysfunction. Learn common TMJ dysfunctions and testing protocols. Common treatments and rehab exercises will be explored. CEU's: BOC 4, NCPT 4, PACE 4.

Our WSO family is deeply saddened by the passing of Leanda Bevans — a leader, mentor, and friend who helped shape the heart of our community.

Leanda believed that weightlifting was more than lifting a barbell. In her own words:

“I firmly believe that weightlifting extends beyond physical strength—it cultivates confidence and resilience that transcend the boundaries of the lifting platform. As we age, building strength in our muscles, ligaments, bones, and mind becomes pivotal for a fulfilling life and equips us to navigate life’s uncertainties.”

That belief guided everything she did. Leanda championed female and youth participation, always reminding us that lifting should be fun and accessible to all. She spearheaded the Coaching Scholarships program—creating the criteria, developing the questionnaires, reviewing applications, and personally reaching out to each applicant. She wanted to make sure opportunities reached those who needed them most.

Her legacy lives on in every athlete who picked up a barbell because of her encouragement, every coach given a chance through her dedication, and every smile that came from finding the fun in lifting.

Thank you, Leanda, for leading with purpose, compassion, and heart. You will forever be a part of the WSO family. 🕊️💪

My hero~ after 5 weeks of discovering more and more layers of different materials, Devin from AZ Shutter Pros successfully hung the thermal shade in my home office~ succeeding where several failed before him!

well, we got to too late to enjoy their food before their well deserved vacation. George recommended Richardson's... the place has surely changed since the Bethany Home Road location..my, oh my... we both really enjoyed our meals 😋 highly recommend!

We added shockwave therapy to our practice a bit over a year ago~ it's been a big success! You have to try it to believe it ~ totally different than other therapies. Helps relieve stubborn pain that other modalities haven't touched. Actually helps soft tissue that hasn't been soft in years, among other difficult problems!
