Confidence… if you have it you can’t understand why someone doesn’t. And if you don’t you envy the people that do.
You really don’t need to have great hair to be confident. I find that when my hair looks great, I feel great. But I don’t think it’s because of my hair looks great I think it’s because when my hair looks good, I’ve done something to take care of myself that day. Weather I did it myself or went and got it done.
Confidence is learned from experience. We can be confident in something we do, in the way we look, in the way we present ourselves.
I am very confident in styling hair, no matter what hair type, color or texture. When it comes to coloring hair I’m not confident at all. It comes with practice, trial and error.
I am confident in who I am. That doesn’t mean that I think I’m perfect. In fact I’m far from it. It doesn’t mean that I don’t care about what people think. It doesn’t mean that o don’t have fears. It means that I know who I am and I know I can’t be someone else. I can better myself and grow as a person and still be comfortable with me along the journey.
I haven’t always been confident. There were certain things in my life that helped me to gain my confidence. It wasn’t attention from cute boys, but the realization that I am unique, and that is a good thing.I don’t want to be who everyone else is.
I was beating myself up for not looking like the pretty girls or being skinny enough or wearing enough makeup. I learned that those things are not what others care about. I learned that the things that people were attracted to me for were my kindness, what kind of friend I am, and my little quirks that I was to shy to show.
I like me. I’m lovable. I want to be better, but I won’t focus on the negative. I’ll focus my the good and watching myself improve as I strive to become better!
