The information is out there. Sometimes we have information overload. 😫

The real challenge? Many of us our stuck in old habits and beliefs.

For example, you might believe you need to eat less and move more to lose your meno belly. Not true. That’s an old belief that worked in our 20s and early 30s.

Hormones are complex. So on top of our outdated beliefs, low energy due to our fluctuating hormones, and lack of real guidance, we stay stuck.

I just launched a podcast:

You’re Not Crazy! It’s Perimenopause.

This show was born out of a season in my life when I felt anxious, overwhelmed, gaining weight, and honestly… not like myself at all.

There were days I didn’t want to deal with anyone. I wanted to hide in my own little cocoon and just be left alone. It was confusing and lonely because I didn’t understand what was happening to me.

Now I do.

And I created this podcast for the woman who is right in the middle of that season.

The trailer for my brand-new podcast, You’re Not Crazy, It’s Perimenopause, is officially LIVE.

I’ve wanted to start this for years. And if I’m being honest? I almost talked myself out of it more than once.

Who am I to do this?

Will anyone listen?

But here’s what I know for sure: this message is too important to stay quiet about.

This is what moods can feel like in perimenopause.

One minute you’re jolly. The next, you feel like you’re losing your mind.

I know this feeling firsthand. One minute I’m in a great mood, and the next it’s like a switch flips and I’m ready to snap at anyone who crosses my path.

If you’ve ever thought, “What is wrong with me?”, you’re not crazy. It’s very likely your hormones.

After 40, our hormones begin to fluctuate more dramatically, and that can take a real emotional toll. The good news? You’re not powerless here.

Start with the basics:

• Eat enough protein
• Sleep at least 7 hours
• Reduce stress where you can
• Move your body regularly

And maybe most importantly, learn to say no a little more often.
